Scott Disick Speaks Up About Breakup With Kourtney Kardashian And Finally Makes His First Public Appearance

After two separate cancellations, reality star Scott Disick finally made his first public appearance since breaking up with Kourtney Kardashian. Lord Disick, as he likes to call himself, didn’t just make it to his 1OAK event in Las Vegas on Friday, he also spoke out about his split from the mother of his three children.

"I'm just taking it one day at a time," he said when the topic was brought up on the red carpet. "With everything going on right now, I need to be positive for myself," he concluded. Us Weekly shared the quote and reported that Disick stuck to a bottle of water during the appearance. He also steered clear of female fans during the appearance.

He reportedly hung out at the club’s VIP area with good friends like artist Alec Monopoly and musician Mally Mall. Some of his childhood friends from the east coast were also at the party.

He arrived at the club past midnight after enjoying dinner at Stack restaurant, which is also located at the Mirage Hotel and Casino. While at 1OAK, Disick may have been steering clear of any female partygoers, but there were two that he was obliged to meet. 1OAK posted a photo of Lord Disick as he posed with two contest winners. The girls were given VIP access to the event and a meet and greet opportunity with the reality star after winning an online competition conducted by the club’s website.

Before the successful appearance on Friday, Disick had cancelled two other hosting gigs earlier this month. Less than a week after his split with Kardashian broke the news, Disick bailed on an earlier booking with 1OAK. He was supposed to host a party on July 10 but the event was cancelled due to undisclosed reasons. The following week, he again cancelled a booking made with Harrah’s Resort in Atlantic City. While the 1OAK appearance has been rescheduled and completed, there has been no further announcement about a new date for Atlantic City.

While Disick was busy partying in Las Vegas, Kardashian spent her Friday night doing exactly the opposite. She took to Instagram to share that she and their oldest son Mason, 5, spent the evening bonding while watching some “Scooby-Doo.”

The couple was together for over nine years before they called it quits earlier this month. Apart from Mason, the former couple have two other children, namely Penelope, 3, and Reign, 7 months.
