Emma Duvall, played by Willa Fitzgerald, will be in a delicate state in the next episode of “Scream: The TV Series.” The official sneak peek video of “Scream: The TV Series” episode 8 titled “Ghosts” tease that Audrey Jensen, played by Bex Taylor-Klaus, and Noah Foster, played by John Karna, offer their help as Emma deals with the brutal death of ex-boyfriend Will Belmont, played by Connor Weil.

Spoiler Alert: This feature contains major “Scream: The TV Series” spoilers.

The new episode’s synopsis in TVGuide teased that Emma will be traumatised after another shocking death. The Ghostface killer’s hide-and-seek game with Emma in the previous episode titled “In the Trenches” ended with Will getting brutally killed before Emma’s eyes.

In the official sneak peek video titled “Emma is Back,” Audrey and Noah could not believe that Emma decided to go back to school so soon after the horrifying experience. They also started to worry about Emma because she acts like nothing has happened.

“I know what you’re going through and we’re here if you need us,” Audrey tells Emma. However, Emma insists that she is doing fine.

While walking towards her class, the reality that Will is gone hit Emma back when she saw Will’s locker. The new episode’s synopsis further teased that Emma will uncover a secret from the past.

In the previous episode, Emma found out through the Posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) tape of her dad in the abandoned bowling alley that her mom Maggie, played by Tracy Middendorf, slept with Brandon James. The secret that Emma will uncover in the next episode is likely to be connected to Maggie’s relationship with serial killer Brandon James.

Meanwhile, Deadline reports that MTV has renewed “Scream: The TV Series” for a second season and the network made the announcement at the 2015 Television Critics Association (TCA) summer press tour. Bob Weinstein, co-chairman of The Weinstein Co. and Dimension Films, assured the viewers of the MTV horror series that there will be more scares, surprises, romance and kills in “Scream: The TV Series” Season 2.

“It has been a wonderful experience working with Bob Weinstein and his team who are such connoisseurs of this genre and we are thrilled by how our viewers have responded to the reinvention of Scream,” Mina Lefevre, MTV Network’s EVP of Series Development and Head of Scripted Programming, said in the Deadline report.
