'American Horror Story' Season 5 'Hotel': Evil Lady Gaga To Be In Love Triangle With Matt Bomer, Finn Wittrock
Popular singer Lady Gaga, who was the first confirmed casting of “American Horror Story” Season 5, will be playing an evil character in “Hotel,” and she will be involved in a love triangle with Matt Bomer and Finn Wittrock.
Speaking about Gaga, Ryan Murphy, co-creator of “American Horror Story,” said at Comic-Con that the 29-year-old singer wanted to be evil and he told her that she has come to the right place. She does not have a singing part in “American Horror Story-Hotel.” According to The Hollywood Reporter, Murphy revealed that Gaga’s role has something to do with fashion, adding, “You want Lady Gaga to look a certain way so the designers have been coming out of the woodwork."
Meanwhile, Wittrock, who has scored his first Emmy nomination for his performance in Season 3 “American Horror Story-Freak Show,” has said that he will be having a lot of scenes with Gaga. The actor told TV Line, he will be “pretty involved with Ms. Gaga.” The actor confirmed that he will feature in a love triangle with Gaga and Bomer, adding that he and Bomer will “go head-to-head once again.”
Wittrock played the twisted main antagonist, Dandy Mott, in the previous season, while Bomer made a guest appearance in an episode as a hustler, Andy. Dandy brutally killed Andy in that episode. Wittrock has hinted at a payback in the upcoming season.
In addition to Gaga, Bomer and Wittrock, the other actors who have joined the Season 5 cast of FX’s horror anthology series are Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Chloe Sevigny, Max Greenfield, Wes Bentley, Cheyenne Jackson, Denis O’Hare and Richard T. Jones.
At the comic-con, some of the characters’ names were revealed. Kathy Bates is playing Iris, while Angela Bassett’s character is called Ramona. Peters is playing Mr. March and Bomer is Donovan. The “baddest bad girl” of the new season Paulson will play Hypodermic Sally.
The new season, which is expected to premiere sometime in October, is said to be darker compared to the previous four seasons. Murphy said at comic-con that all the characters are bad boys and bad girls in Season 5.
