What happens when country pop singer Taylor Swift gets together with none other than rock star Jon Bon Jovi? Magic happens and in the magic they add a dash of royalty too when the Duke of Cambridge Prince William joins them in singing! The trio sang together on Bon Jovi's "Livin' On A Prayer." Watch the video below.

The magically-royal incident happened Monday night as Prince William hosted the Winter Whites Gala at Kensington Palace in aid of youth homelessness charity Centrepoint. The main attraction of the event was a concert headlined by Jon Bon Jovi and Taylor Swift. It was the first time the royal highness held a live rock-pop concert at the palace.

Other stars attending the gala event were Benedict Cumberbatch and rapper Tinie Tempah. For her royal night out, Swift chose to wear a stunning silvery white sleeveless dress while the men were dressed in formal blacks.

"I'm absolutely excited. I don't think I've ever played at a palace before so it is really wonderful," Swift said, according to Buzzfeed.

"I met his father and I met his grandfather. He's still a young kid to me, but a nice young kid," said Bon Jovi of Prince William.

Prince William's singing skills came to public display when Bon Jovi requested him to come on stage and perform on "Livin' On A Prayer" with him. The future King of England agreed on a condition if Taylor Swift too joins them in it and the "Red" lady happily agreed. Watch the video below to see the magic unfolds. The video of the event was posted by becksdowling, one Instagram user, who also attended the event.

"Classic Tuesday night with Jon Bon Jovi performing 'Living on a Prayer' with Taylor Swift and HRH," becksdowling captioned the video.

Bon Jovi is also involved in the charity with his Soul Foundation, which was founded in the United States in 2006. The charity aims to help poor and homeless people by giving them access to food, shelter and making them independent.
