Aside from making a few heads turn with her vamped up Versace dress, the "Come & Get It" singer caught the attention and the heart of Versace's own Donatella Versace. Thanks to the friendship rumour has it Selena is set to become the next face of Versace.

If there is any other young star deserving to become the next face of Versace, it would be Selena Gomez. The former Disney star has been staying classy and sexy through her various red carpet appearances. Who could ever forget Selena's sleek Versace outfit at the recent MTV Video Music Awards? Gomez also donned a white form-fitting Versace number during the Billboard Music Awards which earned her another nod on the Best Dressed Celebrities list.

Unlike other former Disney stars that leave imagination out with nipple tape and fishnet gowns, Gomez exposes just the right amount of flesh leaving fans wanting more. Selena's fashion sense proved to be exquisite given she had captured the attention of Donatella Versace.

Everyone in the industry seems to agree Gomez truly has evolved from the cute and casual look to a mature fashion maven. Sooner or later, Gomez might just be the next face of Versace.
