Former Disney stars, David Henrie and Selena Gomez of "Wizards of Waverly Place" are known to be good friends. Having played siblings on the television show, it's not surprising that these two would be quite comfortable with each other. Now, fans think Selena and David are becoming more than friends over the past couple of weeks.

Selena Gomez has long been displaying serious PDA with co-star, David Henrie. While some fans think that it's all friendly, a few "Selenators" have been supporting the idea of David and Selena. With David and Selena both single, could a romance brew between the former co-stars?

"They are not dating," stated a source to Hollywood Life, adding, "They are just friends, currently."

"They spent a good portion of their life together and are great friends and they don't want to or have not even thought about ruining it with dating." Still, those close to them won't rule it out, saying, "Well it worked for Mila [Kunis] and Ashton [Kutcher] years after, didn't it?" continued the source.

A possibility of David Henrie and Selena Gomez could occur but not today or anytime in the future.

"Let's just say that it would be a surprise, even to them, if that happened," stated the insider, adding, "Strictly platonic ... she is more prone to be the matchmaker for him than the match."

Of course, what would "Pretty Little Liars" Lucy Hale say about this pairing? Fans may well recall that David Henrie's ex-girlfriend, Lucy Hale, resembles Selena Gomez quite a lot. A relationship between Selena and David may be cute but pretty much awkward.
