The original Disney series "Wizards of Waverly Place" may be officially over but that hasn't stopped the series' lead stars from constantly meeting up. Selena Gomez and David Henrie might have played siblings onscreen but they sure are friendlier with each other in real life. The latest talk has it that Selena and David are secretly dating. Are they really?

Last August 9, Selena Gomez shared a cosy photo of her opposite David Henrie in the wee hours of the morning. The interesting part of the tweet was the caption that stated "Homesick.." Does this mean Gomez missed her old home, "Wizards of Waverly Place" in Disney or David Henrie?

Sources close to the two continued to claim that David and Selena are nothing more than just good friends. Yet, that is where the romance starts doesn't it? For one, David and Selena spent an awful amount of time with each other. This could probably mean that they are already dating but keeping things private.

"They are not dating. They are just friends, currently. They spent a good portion of their life together and are great friends and they don't want to or have not even thought about ruining it with dating," said a source to Hollywood Life.

Well, it doesn't seem impossible that Selena and David would date in the near future. They could already be dating as far as their fans, friends and family are concerned.

"Well it worked for Mila [Kunis] and Ashton [Kutcher] years after, didn't it? But let's just say that it would be a surprise, even to them, if that happened. Strictly platonic, she is more prone to be the matchmaker for him than the match," continued the source.

Whatever Selena's decision with regards to her dating life, her "Selenators" are behind her every step of the way. Maybe in a week or two, Gomez and Henrie would finally announce the real status of their relationship. For now, all that fans can do is sit back and wait.
