Since Selena Gomez had admitted to her big crush on Hollywood hunk, Logan Lerman, fans have been "shipping" the pair together. Surprisingly, Logan Lerman expressed his thoughts on hearing about Selena's crush on him. Now, the big question is, should Logan Lerman and Selena Gomez start dating?

With "Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters" soon to hit the big screen, it's not surprising that Logan Lerman has been out and about. The 21-year old actor recently sat down at the "Meet the Filmmakers" event at the Big Apple for questions about his latest film. Aside from being questioned about the film, Lerman had also opened up about Selena Gomez crushing on him.

"I've never met her before, but that's really nice," said Logan, adding, "She's very pretty. I'm very flattered."

"Selenators" immediately went on a Twitter frenzy stating that Logan Lerman and Selena Gomez should officially start dating. Of course, the possibility might occur if rumours of Lerman starring as Clay Jensen in the upcoming film adaptation of "13 Reasons Why" are true.

Late last year it was announced that Selena Gomez had nabbed the role of Hannah Baker in Jay Asher's best-selling novel, "13 Reasons Why." The novel follows the story of a shy California student by the name of Clay Jensen who comes home to find a box filled with seven cassette tapes sent to him by his late crush, Hannah Baker. Baker had recently committed suicide and the tapes in the box included 13 reasons why she had taken her life. The box was to be sent around to 12 people who had played a role in her death.

If Logan Lerman does nab the part of Clay then it's not impossible that he and Selena may start dating. Yet, fans of Logan Lerman know that the 21-year old actor has been professional throughout all his roles. Not once has Lerman been romantically linked to a co-star.

Still, if the chance does arise, should Logan Lerman and Selena Gomez start dating?
