While this year might not be so blessed and lucky for Bieber, it is definitely proving to be a great year for Bieber's ex-girlfriend, Selena Gomez. From one film to the next, Selena is having a time of her life making movies. Still, Selena is set to hit back to the one thing she loves most - the music. Gomez's next album is out this year so what is it all about?

"Selenators" are nothing but extremely excited for the release of her upcoming album. Even Selena Gomez is anxious to have the album and its first single out. In an interview with Teen Vogue, Gomez opened up on the album and making all the new music for it.

"It is so much fun [making music]," stated Gomez, adding, "I made a huge fun dance record that I'm so proud of. I got to record 20 or so great songs and work with a bunch of different producers and they're all really fun, pop songs and a little Ellie Goulding-ish, a little island-y feel."

The first single is set for a release this spring and a tour is already scheduled for the summer.

"It's a really fun pop record. I'm super stoked for it. It's kind of been hush-hush about it and I'm excited for the single to come out and for my fans to hear it," added Gomez.

"I'll release the single in April and then I'll tour this summer," continued Selena.

The album isn't the only thing "Selenators" are hyped about. "Spring Breakers", Selena's raciest film to date, will be out this summer enough to make everything sizzle. As of late, Gomez had been busy promoting the film in Europe with co-stars, Ashley Benson of "Pretty Little Liars", Vanessa Hudgens of "High School Musical" and Rachel Korine.

Harmony Korine's directed film had already amassed positive feedback during its premiere at the Cannes and Toronto Film Festival. Hopefully, by the time it gets released in the US, the great feedback would continue.

For now, Selena fans can just sit back and relax. Judging from Selena's entire dance videos, the album is surely one to wait for.
