Seth Rollins vs. Triple H likely to happen at WWE WrestleMania 33
WWE Superstar Seth Rollins made a sensational comeback during this week's edition of Monday Night Raw to issue a challenge to Triple H at WrestleMania 33. Rollins had suffered a torn MCL a few weeks back on Raw that left his highly-awaited showdown with Triple H in doubt.
On Monday, Rollins limped to the ring using a crutch before sitting down for an in-ring interview with announcer Corey Graves. During the interview, Rollins revealed that his MCL tear was "more significant" than the initial diagnosis before pouting over his immediate future as a WWE superstar. When asked about his chances of returning at WrestleMania 33, Rollins said: “Right now, it’s not looking great. It doesn’t look like the doctors are going to clear me in time for WrestleMania.” (Watch video below)
WWE WrestleMania 33: Seth Rollins to be recover in time?
As Rollins shed a tear, ruing the unlikely turn of events, Triple H crashed the interview before calling his former pupil "a washed up, beat up superstar who’s worthless." Triple H, who serves as the real-life Executive Vice President of Talent, Live Events and Creative for WWE, would proceed to warn Rollins. "If you show up at WrestleMania to call me out, it is the last thing you will ever do in a WWE ring," the Game told Rollins.
With Triple H and Samoa Joe, the man who put Rollins on the shelf, surrounding the ring, the former 'Shield' member vowed to fans that he wouldn't miss a second consecutive WrestleMania due to injury. "I will be at WrestleMania 33, and if it's the last thing I ever do, it'll be the last thing you ever do," an irate Rollins told Triple H before liming out of the ring.
It's more than likely that the rumoured Seth Rollins vs. Triple H match will take place at WrestleMania 33. Though Rollins’ injury is legitimate, and not a scripted angle for television, the WWE wouldn’t possibly schedule a showdown between the two without feeling confident about the young superstar’s recovery.
