Sharon Osbourne to remain wife and manager to Ozzy despite his sex addiction
Ozzy Osbourne has admitted his sex addiction, which the Black Sabbath singer is currently receiving treatment for. Meanwhile, Sharon Osbourne has vowed to stick with her husband, both in his career and personal life.
According to OK! UK, Ozzy has reportedly had multiple sexual relationships with different women during his 33 years of marriage to Sharon. One of these women was Michelle Pugh, a 45-year-old hairdresser. Her affair with the musician apparently lasted four years.
During Sharon’s emotional reveal in an episode of “The Talk,” the 63-year-old TV personality confirmed that Ozzy is currently “working at it.” She further went on to describe the difficulties that the family is facing as a whole.
“Somehow drugs and drink is more acceptable,” she shared. “When it’s sex addiction, it’s embarrassing.”
Fortunately for Ozzy, Sharon has vowed to continue supporting him throughout this trying time. After all, the 67-year-old singer admitted to his addiction in order to help save his marriage. Ozzy has also sent his apologies to Pugh, as well as the other women he had sexual relationships with.
At this point, Sharon’s promise is applicable to both Ozzy’s career and personal life. However, a source close to the personality told Mirror UK that the promise will always hold out when it comes to their business transactions.
“She doesn’t want the business to suffer,” the source said. Despite the hits on their marriage and what it could result in, Sharon will not let Ozzy go as a client.
The publication also claims that Sharon has already been contacted by several divorce attorneys that are eager to represent her. At this point, however, the couple has opted to go for counselling.
Black Sabbath is currently on a tour, which is scheduled to finish by February 2017. When the tour is finished, Ozzy has promised that he will go to rehab for three months in order to address his sex addiction.
