Music mogul Simon Cowell is said to be "desperate" in getting Adele to judge in "X-Factor."

According to a source from Zee News, Simon wants Adele to be on the "X-Factor" to add credibility to his show due to the singer's awards and recent success. Simon already showed her adoration to the 23-year-old singer.

The creator of "X-Factor" is ready to offer Adele large amount of money to lure her to come to the United States and be part of the show.

In one of Simon Cowell's interviews, he said that Adele transformed the perception of many about singers, especially when the business package singers with sexiness and looks. Adele is all about her voice and performance.

"Here is somebody who has done everything her own way, gone back to basics and achieved this incredible success. She's one of the most down-to-earth people you'll meet and she hasn't changed a bit," Cowell also added.

Adele is a good addition to the US version of "X-Factor," which faced several controversies after immediately after its launch. Emerged even with mixed ratings and so-so ratings, "X-Factor" faced controversies when just weeks later, judge Cheryl Cole left the show and was replaced by Nicole Scherzinger.

Nicole and Simon also had some on screen and off screen disputes that caused the firing of the Pussycat Dolls front liner last January. Paula Abdul followed suit. If Adele agreed, she will replace one of the axed judges and will sit alongside Simon and returning judge L.A. Reid.

According to a source, money is not an issue when it comes to offering Adele to be part of the show.

"He [Simon] thinks Adele's success and achievements are incredible. He recognises that true musicianship and a serious approach can bring a lot of credibility and an extra dimension to his show," the source added.

Adele rose to global fame after the release of her phenomenal album "21" and won six Grammy Awards and two Brit Awards.
