Choose A New Career For Sims

There are new careers available for Sims to enjoy with the expansion pack. Sims can become a detective, a doctor or a business owner. Each features its own career items and plots on how to improve career level.

Getting Involved With These New Careers

Since these are new careers, new interactions and plots are expected to be experienced by Sims. For detectives, find hidden clues at a crime scene to solve cases, gain the “Observant” trait to uncover traits by other Sims, get encouragement from the Chief of Police, check out hidden items from pockets of suspects and play as a good cop or a bad one.

Playing as a doctor will let you check out co-workers, find out the baby’s gender on pregnant Sims, challenge your Sims to cure as many patients within the day, make house calls, X-ray scan an Alien and prepare for any random events. If one desire’s to become a business owner, there are several interesting plots such as messing with employees, creating a store within a store, creating a perfect business, running a specialty store, taking advantage of advertising and playing with emotions of employees and customers.

Photography Skill Returns To The Game

Photography skill based from the previous game returns to “The Sims 4” which enables players to perform selfie shots, maximise the smartphone and pick up a better camera to improve the skill. Photography skill also features tricks such as adjusting camera view, zoom, size and aspect. Filters have been added to for creating great shots.

Retail Lots Now Available

“Get To Work” expansion pack adds several new implementations for the Build mode and allows creation of retail lots in the game. According to the retail lot featured by EA “Café & Bakery” by flubbery32c4, it permits Sims to improve the Baking skill. Another featured lot named Prince Center provides several stores inside a shopping mall for Sims to enjoy during their day offs.

Become The Source Innovation

Aside from a cop, a doctor and a business owner, Sims can also become inventors by working as Scientists and lead the town into the next generation. Create breakthrough inventions to control minds of other Sims instantly, freeze surrounding Sims in ice and transform objects to almost anything possible. Scientists can also make the entire town asleep, detect Aliens, decrease the chance of being abducted by Aliens and launch a signal into space using the Invention Constructor.

More Exploration For Sims

Aside from available towns to be explored, Sims can now visit new lots such as Magnolia Promenade which is a shopping district, individual stores and local hospital to save lives or simply walk at the police station to book criminals. Get retail lots made by other players and place them to your neighbourhood for better gaming experience.

Learn How To Bake Your Favourite Sweets

Learn and master the Baking skill and produce the best sweets in town. Sims can now create cakes and pastries then top-up with a variety of decoration options. These baked products can also be sold in certain ways such as opening your own bakery.
