'Snow White & the Huntsman' Premiere: Stewart & Theron Channel Black and Lace [PHOTOS]
"Snow White & the Huntsman" premiered in the UK and the three main leads made a fashion statement.
Kristen Stewart & Charlize Theron both channeled the ethereal look in black laced gowns while Chris Hemsworth kept dapper with a grey tailor-fit suit. What else went down at the green carpet premiere?
After months of waiting, the highly anticipated fairytale remake of "Snow White" premiered at the Empire Leicester Square at London. Fans of the film and the star-studded cast swamped the UK premiere to await the arrival of the glamorous cast.
Charlize Theron definitely made a "wicked" statement with her Christian Dior black sheer dress. The actress, who plays Evil Queen Ravenna, looked like she had stepped right out of the film. Wearing smoky eyes, pale lips and swept up do, the only thing missing in Theron's ensemble was her crown.
Even Kristen Stewart made an effort to resemble her onscreen role, Snow White. The 22-year old actress donned a Marchesa black laced gown with beaded details and sheer-nude cutouts. Like Theron, Stewart looked as if she too had stepped right out of the film. Given that Stewart is known to wear Converse shoes and un-flattering ensembles, Stewart's green carpet look for "Snow White" proves to be one big fashion hit.
With two "Queens" on the red carpet, who outshined the other?
On the other hand, while Thor is busy dominating "The Avengers", Chris Hemsworth still managed to make it to the "SWATH" premiere. Donned in a grey suit, the Huntsman looked as dapper as ever. Hemsworth, who was all smiles at the premiere, celebrated being a daddy following the birth of his wife, Elsa Pataky, last Friday. A few other stars that made it to the UK premiere were Sam Claflin, Lily Cole, Nick Frost, Ian McShane and ray Winstone.
"Snow White & the Huntsman" will premiere on the big screen on June 1. With two weeks left on the calendar, it'll be busy press and promotion week for Kristen Stewart, Charlize Theron and Chris Hemsworth. For now, fans best be content with the UK Premiere photos and the official trailer for "Snow White and the Huntsman".
