Solange Knowles Wears The Same Harbison Coat As Sister Beyonce Knowles

Beyonce Knowles and her little sister Solange Knowles both wore the same overcoat styled according to their personal choice. Singer Beyonce sported the coat for Kanye West’s Adidas show at the New York Fashion Week last month. Solange meanwhile appeared in the same coat at Vivienne Westwood’s show at Paris Fashion Week on Mar 7, according to US Weekly.

The coat in question is from the fashion house Harbison from its Spring Summer 2015-2016 collection. It is a multi-colour sheer wool arched mosaic overcoat, as described by the label. The 33-year-old Beyonce wore it over Harbison gem embellished, navy blue separates. Her ensemble exuded a very 1940s feel to it.

She teamed her zipper dress with a huge black belt and a scarlet-coral colour block fox clutch from the same label. She wore red Alaia high heeled sandals. To add glamour to her look, she wore dark round sunglasses.

In little less than a month’s time, DJ and R&B artist Solange got everyone talking about the ensemble. She wore the colour block overcoat buttoned down with its chunky black and white buttons. Instead of the throwing the coat over her shoulders, she preferred to go in for a more conservative look. The 28-year-old accessorised it with a graphic box clutch and bright, geometric colour block sandals from Nicholas Kirkwood. Both sisters are known for their individual styles. Solange’s style is interpreted to be cool with an eye for colour. She even experiments with new designers. But she mostly opts for longer length skirts and dresses. Whereas Beyonce choses to stick to well-known brands occasionally embracing street wear. She usually sports mini dresses, cropped tops and body-con dresses that fully accentuate her curves.

The Knowles sisters were spotted after the 87th Annual Academy Awards donning white gowns. They were dressed for the Vanity Fair after party. Beyonce was dressed in long-sleeved ivory dress by Stella McCartney, teamed with a J Mendel fur, huge diamond and emerald baubles by Lorraine Schwartz and emerald earrings. She carried a silver clutch bag and wore golden peep toe high heels. Meanwhile, Solange wore a flowing white long-sleeved number by Naeem Khan. The dress had a high neck, embellished with silver beading for extra glitz. She carried a white clutch and Brian Atwood heels.
