In the past two years, Sony has rolled out four Xperia Z flagship models with a gap of six months in between them. The Sony Xperia Z2 arrived in April this year and in September, Sony announced the arrival the second flagship handset of the year, the Xperia Z3. And now, the Sony Xperia Z4 is slated to arrive early 2015.

According to PhoneArena, the internal screenshot documents made available by a Sony insider has revealed that the Sony Xperia Z4 technical specifications would include a 5.2-inch full HD resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. Even the Sony Xperia Z3 comes with the same-sized display. Android Headlines reveals that the previous Xperia Z4 specifications rumours claimed that the handset would house a 5.4-inch Quad HD display. PhoneArena adds that there is possibility that Sony may roll out the handset with a 5.2-inch Quad HD screen.

As far as the processor of the Xperia Z4 is concerned, the Sony Xperia Z4 may feature the all new Snapdragon 805 chipset. It is the same chipset that powers the most popular flagship handsets of this year such as the Galaxy Note 4, the Motorola Droid Turbo and Google Nexus 6. The handset was first speculated to feature Snapdragon 810 but it may not come true because Sony is going to unveil its new products including the Xperia Z4 during the CES expo in Las Vegas which is less than a month away from now.

The internal documents also reveal that the Xperia Z4 will also feature an upgraded 21 MP camera with Sony Exmor IMX230 sensor. The IBTimes UK Edition further states that Xperia Z4 will come with inbuilt options of 16 GB and 32 GB. The handset weighs 140 g which is lighter than the Xperia Z3 that weighs 152 g.
