British singer-song writer Adele has shared the characteristics of her ideal man and what could have inspired her to write her hit songs including the phenomenal "Rolling in the Deep."

The singer responsible for the number one album in the Australian charts says that funny men attract her most. "I would like someone with humour. If they make me laugh, I'm in the bed. I really don't care how they are physically." says Adele in a post by The Sun. The "Someone Like You" singer, who's current album "21" speaks about a turbulent relationship in the past, also talked about what kind of a partner she wants for long term commitment. .

"For husband material it ranges from Leonardo DiCaprio to Zach Galifianakis. It really does vary that much. I like all sizes, it doesn't matter - if they make me laugh I am on it." quips the past-boozing singer from North London. Aside from her fondness for a comedic personality, the singer also admits she likes someone who knows his way around the kitchen and someone who is serious about a steady life with her.

"I like someone who really inspires me and I admire," adds the singer in the same The Sun post. Adele adds that her fame became a huge setback for establishing a solid relationship. The singer ended a relationship in the past, the relationship that inspired her to write songs for her debut release "21".

The singer, who has admitted in an interview that she "always had bad luck" with men in the past, says she did not expect to be as famous as she is now. "This success literally all fell into my lap. I was always singing and knew I would be involved in music. But I thought I would be a receptionist or work in a shop and on my days off go and play an acoustic show to my family and friends. I never ever thought this would happen," gushes the "Chasing Pavements" singer in the interview as transcribed in the report by The Sun.
