David Beckham kicked-off his 40th birthday celebrations by opening Instagram account on May 2 and has already got a 400,000 fan following. He posted several pictures that include a selfie with Brooklyn his eldest child, another with Victoria, a picture with his parents and sister, a picture with gifts and the other one shows David enjoying breakfast. But the picture of the day was the one which showed the Spice Girls, according to Mirror UK.

Victoria Beckham or Posh Spice got her former bandmates to join her husband’s big day. It was a Spice Girls reunion with Emma Bunton (Baby), Mel C (Sporty) and Geri Halliwell (Ginger). The only Spice Girl who could not make it was Mel B, who had been invited. But Victoria’s actress pal Eva Longoria, 40, filled in the void.

The retired footballer celebrated his 40th birthday with an extravagant party at the Amanjena resort in Marrakech, Morocco. David invited a host of his celebrity friends to join him for his milestone birthday bash including chef Gordon Ramsay, his old pals Tom Cruise and Guy Ritchie, his Manchester United teammate Gary Neville and his best friend Dave Gardner and his girlfriend “The Incredible Hulk” actress Liv Tyler. The former England captain’s Arabian themed party had snake charmers, belly dancers and magician David Blaine entertaining the guests in candelight. Besides, the party ran up to 7 a.m. and ended with the guests watching the Mayweather-Pacquiao fight.

The football legend displayed his footwork on the dance floor where the major action took place. Besides, his family members took time off from partying to update their social media handles with pictures from the celebration. David also took a break from Instagram when he switched over to Facebook and congratulated Kate Middleton and Prince William on the birth of their daughter.

The bar was stocked with David’s favourite whiskey cocktails and it kept being refilled. The footie legend enjoyed a birthday lunch with his wife Victoria and his brood, he took his kids Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and little Harper for a camel ride. After a long day of celebrating, David thanked his wife for a great birthday, and shared a selfie with Victoria.
