The 2013 Spin Off Music Festival brings Splendour bands to Adelaide including Iceland's 'Of Monsters and Men,' 'Passion Pit' and 'FIDLAR.' It kicks off today, August 2 at the Thebarton Theare.

Spin Off had its successful debut in 2012 as the 'bite-sized' version of Splendour in the Grass. Last year's headliners were Lana Del Rey and Kimbra.

The festival's timetable is less complicated than Splendour since the organizers set up only two stages to sperate the band from the DJs. The Main and Sailor Jerry Stages will feature the bands at the following schedules:

After Spin Off, 'Of Monsters and Men'and 'Passion Pit' will continue with their Australian tour.'Of Monsters and Men's' remaining performances will be at the Palais Theatre in Melbourne on August 3 and 4.

On the other hand, 'Passion Pit' will perform in Perth on August 4 for the last leg of their Australian tour.

It was rumoured that the Icelandic band will perform at Lollapalooza in Chicago, which kicks also kicks of today until August 4 but it seems that the band chose to play for their Australian fans.

Meanwhile, there are still three big music festivals to look forward to before the year ends such as the Harvest Festival 2013 in November; and the Stereosonic and Vans Warped Tour both happening in November and December.
