Spoiler Alert: Wolverine Shows the Beginning of the Next X-Men Movie [PHOTOS]
"Wolverine" had badass ninjas and cool fighting moves, but there was one thing that you had to see before leaving the cinemas, the story that rolled after the credits. So, for those who have not watched the movie "Wolverine" yet... here is a major SPOILER ALERT.
After the credits roll at the end of the movie, you will find Logan (Jackman) standing in the airport near a metal detector. This would take place two years after he got rid of the ninjas and Viper. While in line, queuing for the pat down, he sees an advertisement of the Trask Industries.
For those who have not seen the other X-Men movies and have not read the comics well The Trask Industries are responsible for the release of the Sentinels. Sentinels hunt down those who are considered to be mutants.
As Logan approaches the metal detector for a pat down, his mutant senses perk up and he notices metal coins and objects shake. He instinctively unleashes his claws but Magneto stops him as his claws are no longer covered in adamantium. Magneto seemed to have recovered nicely from being injected with the cure in the last X-men movie (If you remember in X-Men: The Last Stand).
"There are dark forces moving, new forces, building a weapon that could bring about the end of our talent. Logan, I want your help." Says Magneto to Logan,
"Why would I trust you?" Logan answers back (another spoiler alert here it comes).
Magneto replies "You wouldn't," and releases Logan, he turns to see Professor Charles Xavier. We all know that the professor was totally wiped out by Phoenix in the last X-Men movie but well here he is again. Logan, astounded by seeing the professor wonders out loud "How is this possible?"
The professor answers with a very cool statement "As I told you a long time ago, you're not the only one with gifts."
So, there you have it. I'm sure that there are millions of fans that are at the edge of their seats waiting for the next X-Men movie Days of Future Past to be released by next year.
