Even during the films' shoot last year, fans were dying to see the movies' outcome.

At the Toronto and Venice Film Festival, "Spring Breakers" received a lot of positive reviews making fans even antsier to see the film. Even "Twilight" star, Robert Pattinson, agreed the film was worth the watch. With the film showing in over hundreds of cinemas worldwide, "Spring Breakers" has received tons of love and not to mention a lot of money.

Over the weekend, "Spring Breakers" managed to amass $5 million and according to Paul Dergarabedian of Hollywood.com, the weekend score is "pretty darn impressive."

"I think the marketing has been solid for the film," stated Dergarabedian, adding, "Effectively working the bikinis and guns imagery has definitely had a positive effect on the box office."

"Oh, and of course having Vanessa Hudgens [and] Selena Gomez in the mix certainly raised awareness among their fanbases, and help[ed] boost the numbers," added Paul.

The numbers are still increasing by the day because according to Box Office, "Spring Breakers" is nearing its' six million. On Monday, the Korine-directed film managed to reel in an amount of $541,195 with a domestic total of $5.81 million. The film is still showing in a lot of cinemas worldwide which generally means the amount of millions is sure to grow by the second.

With "Selenators" closely supporting Selena Gomez, "Spring Breakers" might even manage to make ten million in the days to come. As for other Selena Gomez related news, the 20-year old singer is releasing teasers for her upcoming fourth studio album, "Come & Get It."
