'Star Wars: Bloodline' details leak: Novel to explore Han Solo and Leia relationship; Ben training with Luke
Details about the forthcoming novel “Star Wars: Bloodline” has leaked online. The novel will reportedly explore Han Solo and Leia’s relationship and show Ben Solo training with Luke Skywalker.
[Spoiler alert]
The forthcoming novel is set six years before the events in “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” and will look at where some of the characters from the movie were at that time, Star Wars Underworld reports. The novel will apparently be entirely from Leia’s prospective.
In the novel, Han Solo and Leia are still a couple. There will also be flashbacks that will take the readers back to some of the highlights of their relationship. Han has his own shipping company and Leia is on the verge of leaving her political career to join as a crew member of the Millennium Falcon.
An excerpt from the novel reveals how Han finds it hard to believe that he is now a father. It is a flashback scene in which Ben Solo is still a child, resting his head on his father’s arm. Leia teases her “hotshot” husband about being a father and tells him that one day he will become a grandfather.
There is also political intrigue in “Star Wars: Bloodline.” It is not easy for Leia to leave her job as a Senator because there is danger that threatens the new democratic foundation of the galaxy. The Senators decide to create a powerful new position to provide a much needed strong leadership.
Leia is a natural choice for the position of First Senator and that is what her supporters want. However, there are others who are distrustful of the daughter of Darth Vader, who was the right hand man of the Emperor of the previous regime.
However, Leia may be forced to take the position of First Senator. A mysterious enemy is rising at the edges of the galaxy. Meanwhile, her son Ben Solo is training under Jedi Master Luke Skywalker. “Star Wars: Bloodline” by Claudia Gray is set to be released by May 3.
