‘Star Wars’ cast Harrison Ford, Chewbacca hug out their feud on ‘The Jimmy Kimmel Live!’
“Star Wars” cast Harrison Ford and Chewbacca have finally reconciled after lengthy feud allegedly over a woman.
Appearing on the “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” episode on Monday night, Ford and Chewbacca had a reunion in a hilarious skit. In the beginning of the show, a heartbroken Chewbacca threatened to jump off a building.
Ford suddenly appeared and persuaded Chewbacca to do him a favour by jumping to his “hairy death,” for supposed love affair with his wife. “Shut your wookiee grunt hole, will ya! -- you made a choice! She was my wife,” the actor shouted.
With Kimmel’s words of wisdom to the actor, Ford suddenly recalled his old happy memories with Chewbacca on the sound of Adele’s hit single “Hello.” The memories of the two Star Wars cast included playing checkers, drinking beers, getting pedicure and grooming Chewbacca’s fur.
Ford later had a change of heart saying, “I remember” and went to the roof to hug his hairy pal.
Part of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” special episode for “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” was an interview with the film’s director J.J. Abrams. The director revealed on the show that the first spoken word in the movie is “This.” J.J. Abrams’ revelation surprised everyone in the studio and made them clap loudly. He also shared a clip of the actors running in the film.
Later on the show, Kimmel showed a “Star Wars Edition” of its segment “Lie Witness News.” In the video, Kimmel’s fake news crew went to the streets of Los Angeles to interview people about important current events involving “Star Wars” characters.
The questions asked to the people passing by included an inquiry about Kylo Ren’s replacement to North Korean President Kim Jong-un, Admiral Ackbar’s foreign policies and climate change on Hoth.
The most and long-awaited “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” is scheduled to hit theatres on Dec. 17 in Australia and Dec. 18 in the U.S.
