'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' Carrie Fisher Worried The Movie Is 'Cursed' -- Report
Carrie Fisher, a cast member of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” reportedly believes that the upcoming movie may be “cursed.” Her statement comes after veteran actor Harrison Ford suffered injuries after crashing his plane.
This is the second time that Harrison Ford injured himself in an accident in the past year. The actor had previously suffered an injury while filming a scene for “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.” According to a report by TorontoSun, Carrie Fisher is concerned about the movie project being “cursed,” in light of the multiple accidents.
She apparently narrated her own experience of an accident that took place a few days before Harrison Ford’s accident. The actress is said to have been in a minor car accident that did not result in any injury, but the incident and Ford’s accident later has convinced the actress to reach out to Mark Hamill to ensure that he is alright.
The car accident is supposedly the first that she had been in and Carrie Fisher revealed in the report that her assistant believes that she could have died if the accident had happened on the freeway. The wheel of her BMW is said to have come off while she was driving during heavy rain in Los Angeles.
The actress also revealed that there is a joke between her and Harrison Ford. She said that she chose to have a beer instead of flying with the actor, when he asked her to choose between the two on a previous occasion. According to the report, the actress said that she sent some beers to Ford at the hospital with a message that read “You should have had a beer this time.”
Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford play the roles of Leia Organa and Han Solo respectively in “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.” The two characters were romantically involved in the original trilogy of the movie franchise. Mark Hamill, who plays the role of Luke Skywalker, is the other actor from the original trilogy who will be joining the cast in the upcoming movie. The popular droids R2-D2 and C-3PO will also feature in the upcoming movie.
