‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens': John Boyega reveals official film poster, teases final trailer
The full and final trailer for “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” is expected to be released during Monday Night Football on ESPN. No details have been revealed yet about the preview. However, ahead of the release, John Boyega, who plays Finn in the film, teased on his Instagram account what is believed to be part of the full trailer. He also shared the official film poster.
Boyega shared a short video where he can be seen standing by a parachute. He captioned his post with, “Get ready.” The location seems to be a rocky wilderness, teasing Luke Skywalker’s place of refuge, which was shot at Skellig Michael Island.
Boyega’s Instagram video has received over 5,000 likes and over 300 comments so far, mostly from fans who believe that his clip is a teaser for the full “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” trailer.
The actor also revealed the official poster for “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” on his Instagram page. As of writing, the photo has received over 13,000 likes and 611 comments from fans who thanked the actor for sharing the film poster.

ESPN Carribean’s Twitter account initially announced the release of the film's official poster. Although the tweet has since been deleted, Starwars7news was able to note what it said.

The tweet confirmed that the full and final film trailer will be revealed on ESPN during the half time show of Monday night’s football game between Philadelphia Eagles and New York Giants.
Meanwhile, “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” may also have something in store for fans on Monday. The news came from the official Twitter account of “Good Morning America.” However, the post has since been deleted. According to Comicbook, the tweet said that “something new” from “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” will be revealed on the show. No specific detail was provided, but it’s presumed a brief preview of the film’s final full trailer will be revealed.
