People normally get aggravated when stranded for hours but the passengers of Air Flight 592 did the contrary to turn the unpleasant situation into something good. A video has been shared on YouTube showing the stranded passengers on a Las Vegas runway singing R. Kelly's hit single "I Believe I Can Fly" while waiting for the technical issues to be fixed and medical assistance to be carried out.

The video shows how the passengers dealt with getting stuck in the plane for almost 5 hours with no snacks, water and air conditioning system as the temperature increased outside. "With no water, I just honestly didn't think they cared about the well-being of the customers," passenger Jenisis Altamirano shared to the ABC News affiliate KNXV-TV in Phoenix.

An unnamed woman passed out while two other passengers suffered medical problems because of the extreme heat. "One of the passengers started getting a bloody nose from the heat so she rushed to the bathroom. Followed by her was another passenger that was starting to vomit. A third passenger passed out in the middle of the aisle. Everyone was kind of frantic," Francine Gutierrez revealed to Fox News.

However, the spokesperson for the Allegiant Airline claimed that the cabin crew handed out water to the passengers. "The pilots are constantly going through a maintenance checklist and an issue came up that they would not have boarded the airplane obviously if they were aware of this issue ahead of time, but when it did come to their attention, the safety of their passengers is their first priority," spokesperson Brian Davis stated.

In a released statement, Allegiant Airline explained that the extreme heat in Las Vegas made it hard for the crew to maintain a comfortable temperature in the plane while stranded on the runway. "During the delay, our team members worked to make passengers as comfortable as possible by providing beverages," Allegiant further declared.

After hours of waiting with an optimistic performance of R. Kelly's song, the Allegiant Air Flight 592 finally landed at the Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport. Allegiant revealed that the passengers were given a $100 worth of credit for their upcoming travels.

According to the set Federal regulations, an airline is required to provide sufficient food and water to passengers if they got stranded on the plane for over two hours. Furthermore, the planes must return to the gate and let the passengers exit the aircraft if the delay has already exceeded three hours.
