As gamers wait for the Minecraft Xbox 360 Title Update 12, which is still currently in development with no definite release date announced, reports and opinions have been circulating on what to expect when the TU 12 comes.

Society & Religion, a blog that follows developments for Minecraft Xbox 360 very closely, gives some tips on how to improve the Minecraft Nether features that can be included in the TU 12.

Nether tools can be very helpful, as they are made from demonite that can help defeat enemies by lighting them on fire. A full set of armor can also come in handy for fire-proofing.

Another update that can be included would The Devil, which would require combining 10 Demon Souls and 10 Demonite Ingots to make a much powerful being.

The Devil would be so powerful that it can shoot fireballs that can only be deflected by a demonite armor. The creature can also use demons and dark spirits as a mode of attack, and can only be defeated with a flaming sword or staff.

Those who want to loot the nether realms can also go into Nether Dungeons, which would have higher value loot compared to normal ones above ground. And in addition to places to loot, there can also be villages, only this time, they can feature evil villagers instead.

Different types of weather in Minecraft?

In terms of the weather, there are also some add-ons that tackle this particular feature, which can be a potential add-on to the game.

GawdAlmighty.com brings up the different weather possibilities that can come with the update--or at least what most wish would be evident come the update.

From thunderstorms and tornadoes to tsunamis and wildfires, these are just some of the weather or natural disasters that happen in real life, and said to be mirrored in Minecraft Xbox 360--no matter how blockish the characters may be.

Minecraft rises through sales chart

Minecraft has risen up the charts for the sale of its PC version, but its console version is selling just as well.

"Minecraft on Xbox has now sold 7 million copies!!! CRAZY! =D" was the Twitter announcement by Daniel Kaplan, business developer.

However, GameSpot reports that the figures are not yet confirmed as to whether they pertain to physical copies sold or those bought through the Xbox Live Arcade.

This just adds credence to the slot that the Museum of Modern Art has bestowed upon Minecraft, putting it alongside legendary games like Pac-Man, Katamari Damacy, Pong, and Space Invaders in its gaming collection.
