DC’s band of misfits is set to get a film of their own in “Suicide Squad.” Cara Delevingne will play June Moone / Enchantress. In a recent interview, Delevingne talks about the character and her preparation for the role.

Speaking to Empire via Comic Book Movies, Delevingne hints that the thirst for adventure might be the reason that Enchantress joins the “Suicide Squad.”

“June is an adventure seeker who’s always wanted some excitement. And she gets what she wished for, but in a terrible way. At the start of the movie she discovers a cavern and finds something within,” Delevingne said.

The “Paper Towns” actress cannot reveal the specifics, but she teased, “She’s an ancient sorceress. A feral being. She’s been trapped for so long and know she’s finally let out.”

Enchantress is a fictional supervillain appearing in the DC comics who takes over June Moone.

When asked about how she prepares for the two different roles, she said she likes to gather “deeper and posher accent” for the Enchantress and she listens to Nick Cave’s “Red Right Hand” and a lot of Megadeth.

In a separate interview in Late Night with Seth Meyers, the model turned actress dished on what happened when she auditioned for the role. Apparently, director David Ayer ruled her up so bad that she literally wanted to kill someone when she left.

“By the time I left, I literally wanted to kill someone. I was so angry. I said to [Ayer], ‘If I kill someone on the way home, you better bail me out of jail because I’m furious,” the model added.

“Suicide Squad” is the third film instalment in the DC Extended Universe with a cast that also include Jared Leto, Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, Jai Courtney, Jay Hernandez, Adam beach and Viola Davis.

The film opens on Aug. 5, 2016.
