Details on what will happen in "Supernatural" Season 9 have been hitting the Web headlines with the upcoming season now reportedly having a very different atmosphere as a result of the events that took place in the Season 8 finale. Executive producer Jeremy Carver divulged that Dean Winchester will be holding a heavy secret that could cause a gap to his relationship with younger brother Sam.

In "Supernatural" Season 9, Sam Winchester will carry on from the ordeals he went through in the Season 8 finale that made him ill. The answer to the question of why and how Sam survived will be the heavy secret that older brother Dean will have to hold.

"You're going to find Dean, in the beginning of this season, in a slightly different position, one where it's his decision driving great important and weight on their relationship. It's a heavy weight to bear and it has a great effect on their relationship," the Executive Producer revealed to TVLine.

The conflict between the Winchester boys will happen with the thousands of fallen angels roaming around Earth after Metatron's successful plan in the Season 8 ending. One of them will include the "dignified warrior angel" named Ezekiel who suffers an injury after the Fall and "Battlestar Galactica" star Tahmoh Penikett will portray the part.

Additionally, there will be more angel characters for Sam and Dean to deal with in "Supernatural" Season 9. "There are a lot of players for the throne of who's going to rise to the fore here," Jeremy Carver revealed.

The executive producer further shared: "We're really delving into the individual characters here, and we found really interesting, really neat angels. Wherever we can dive into Biblical references, we do and then we turn that the way that we need. Some of the angels that we see have deep roots in angel mythology."

The Winchester brothers, portrayed by actors Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles, will continue with their life journey and battle against demons when "Supernatural" Season 9 premieres on October 8, 9 p.m. ET, at the CW television network.
