A blast from the past will reportedly catch up with Dean Winchester in "Supernatural" Season 9. Spoiler TV reveals about one of Dean's old flames set to surface in the upcoming season's fifth episode.

Casting for the actress to portray the part has begun last week with the TV producers and director Kevin Parks supervising the process. "Supernatural" Season 9 Episode 5 is scheduled to begin filming in a couple of weeks.

The Spoiler TV report further revealed that Dean's ex-girlfriend, Robin, is a diner waitress in her 30s who recalls having a teenage romance with Dean and her return is expected to have an interesting effect on Dean Winchester. Robin could be a one-off character but her appearance is expected to reveal more about Dean during his teenager years.

However, the spoiler report does not really mean that Dean will finally have an everlasting relationship with Robin. The Winchester boys appear to be unlucky when it comes to love and relationships because each time Dean and Sam tries to have a stable romantic relationship with a girl, their hunting job becomes a hindrance.

Sam lost his girlfriend Jess to the Yellow-Eyed Demon in Season 1 while Dean's dedication to the hunting job has torn apart his relationship with Cassie. Both brothers have attempted as well to finally settle down but they could not really stay with the woman that they care so much about.

Another "Supernatural" casting news revealed that actress Felicia Day will be reprising her role in the hit TV series' Season 9. According to the TV Guide report, Ms Day will portray once again hunter and hacker Charlene "Charlie" Bradbury in Episode 4 titled "Slumber Party."

"I am so excited to return to Supernatural. I have to say that Charlie is such a gift. She is a genuine geek. Charlie is so multi-layered and they give me the opportunity to explore the character," the actress stated during an interview at the 2013 San Diego Comic Con.

"Supernatural" Season 9 is scheduled to premiere on October 8.
