"Supernatural" Season 9 is expected to feature exciting episodes involving fallen angel Castiel particularly on how he deals with life as a human and actor Misha Collins was spotted filming an episode. Meanwhile, actor Mark Sheppard discussed in an interview the possibility of his character, demon Crowley, to turn into human as well.

In a shared "Supernatural" photo, actor Misha Collins returns as Castiel without the trademark coat while standing on a street. Producer Jim Michaels previously shared on Twitter the upcoming episode titles of "Supernatural" Season 9 and one of them is Episode 3 called "I'm No Angel" where Castiel could be struggling to deal with his new life as a human.

However, demons will be taking the spotlight as well in "Supernatural" Season 9 starting with the King of Hell Crowley portrayed by actor Mark Sheppard. Crowley is expected to come up with an evil plan against the Winchester brothers in Season 9 since Sam failed to complete the ritual and the important task of closing the gates of Hell while Dean put a stop to the ritual to save his brother from dying.

"The best explanation is this: while Sam tried to humanize Crowley with the supposed cure, while they didn't complete that cure there are certainly residual effects from taking that path. There is definitely a residual effect. Whether Crowley likes it or not, there is a residual effect," Mr Sheppard shared with Zap2it.

The actor further added that Sam and Dean's decision in Season 8 finale will bring a heavy impact to everyone in "Supernatural." Mr Sheppard revealed: "It's the first time you see the boys pick not the task, but each other, and that really worked. We filmed that intense scene for three days in that little church and we never stopped. He was fantastic. It was some of the best work I've seen Jared do. A lot of people were crying."

It appears one heavy impact of the Winchester brothers' decision involves the possibility of Crowley turning into human too like Castiel. "We've got the humanization of Cas, because obviously his grace has been removed. And possibly the humanization of Crowley. So it should be an interesting season," Mark Sheppard stated.

"Supernatural" Season 9 returns on October 8 at 9 p.m. ET on the CW television network.
