'Supernatural' Season 9 Spoilers: Castiel to Have Crucial Role in Remaining Season 9 Episodes, Will the Favorite Angel Appear in Season 10?

The remaining episodes of "Supernatural" Season 9 will have the hunters, angels and demons in action as the characters sort out their issues. The CW TV series will be focusing on the overall arc and mythology in the three episodes left and the character teased to be at the center of it all is none other than the fan-favorite angel Castiel (Misha Collins).

In the E!Online TV Scoop report, "Supernatural" supervising producer Andrew Dabb revealed that Castiel's role will be really important in the final episodes of Season 9. Mr Dabb explained that Castiel is part of the mythology like he has been in the previous seasons.

The spoiler report gave a preview as well on Castiel's fate when "Supernatural" returns with the brand new Season 10 soon. "As far as next season goes, look, we love Misha [Collins]. Misha's awesome. I have a hard time imagining the show without him," the supervising producer shared without revealing the specific details on what will happen to the angel character.

In the next "Supernatural" episode, Castiel kicks off his war with Metatron (Curtis Armstrong) by capturing one of Metatron's angels with a little help from the Winchester brothers in the interrogation process. The angel will also be meeting with Metatron's right-hand man Gadreel (Tahmoh Penikett) so intense scenes are expected to happen in the brand new episode as the conflict between the fallen angels escalate.

The official synopsis for Episode 21 titled "King of the Damned" in the Hypable report reads: "ABADDON BLACKMAILS CROWLEY - Castiel (Misha Collins) captures one of Metatron's angels (guest star Gordon Woolvet) and asks Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) for help with the interrogation. Dean eagerly accepts, which doesn't go unnoticed by Sam. Meanwhile, Abaddon (guest star Alaina Huffman) demands Crowley (Mark Sheppard) help her kill Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles). When he refuses, she reveals her shocking bargaining chip. Also, Castiel (Misha Collins) sets a meeting with Gadreel (guest star Tahmoh Penikett)."

"Supernatural" Season 9, Episode 21 "King of the Damned" is scheduled to air on Tuesday night, May 6, at 9 pm ET on the CW Network.
