The remaining episodes of "Supernatural" Season 9 will be focusing on the major plotline that involves the demons and fallen angels. Actor Misha Collins, who portrays Castiel in the CW TV series, teased about the paths of the demons, angels and the Winchesters meeting soon as well as the angel's leadership, being linked to the "Mark of Cain" and his angelic grace.

The E!Online TV Scoop report revealed Misha Collins' preview for his angel character being conflicted as the hesitant leader of the fallen angels. The mission now is to put a stop to Metatron's (Curtis Armstrong) plan of "trying to play God." The 39-year-old actor shared: "Cas knows from personal experience that when he has a position of power, he tends to screw things up, so he's definitely gun-shy."

According to the MStars News report, Misha Collins teased in the Entertainment Weekly interview that Cas will be going solo on his Metatron-hunting mission and restoring heaven's order when he returns in the upcoming episodes. Additionally, fans will be able to see the angel reuniting with Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) as he gets woven into the storyline of the "Mark of Cain."

"Dean and Cas are going to attempt to collaborate again," the actor teased. The human Castiel became an angel once again after he stole another angel's grace and Misha Collins teased that it is still unknown if Castiel will find his own angel grace in the next episodes.

However, the actor revealed that the character will be suffering from the outcome of his actions. "I do know that there are side effects. Cas has sort of got a stiff upper lip about it, and he's trying to forge on, but it does become an issue for him," Misha Collins explained.

"Supernatural" Season 9 is currently on a long hiatus with Episode 17 titled "Mother's Little Helper" ending the story with the Winchester brothers' desire of finding Abaddon (Alaina Huffman). The hunters and the rest of the cast will return on April 15, 2014 at 8 pm central time on the CW Network with Episode 18 titled "Meta Fiction" where Sam finally faces Gadreel (Tahmoh Penikett), the angel who possessed him and killed Kevin Tran (Osric Chau).
