Some people are probably wondering how Suri Cruise manages to live away from her actor-father, Tom Cruise, in New York City. Apparently, Suri Cruise's interest in attending school has helped the 6-year-old little girl a lot to adjust with a new life after the publicized divorce of her parents.

The Daily Mail reports Suri Cruise was spotted one early morning looking really excited as she dashed off to her class at Avenues School leaving behind her doting mother Katie Holmes. Aside from the usual passion for learning, Suri Cruise most likely made some good friends at the private school.

Katie Holmes has been regularly taking her daughter to the elite Manhattan school. Also, the former "Dawson's Creek" actress looked really great when she dropped-off Suri at school.

Katie Holmes managed to look elegant even with just a casual look of jeans, a black top, checkered jacket and dark shades.

Initially, other parents were reported to be reluctant having Suri Cruise at Avenues School because her mere presence could be troublesome. However, it looks like Suri has already blended in well with the other students and dismissed the concern.

Meanwhile, Tom Cruise is planning to see his daughter as soon as he finished working on his latest film in England.

Bert Fields, the actor's lawyer and good friend, told Mail Online that Tom Cruise's hectic work schedule keeps him from spending quality time with Suri.

"Tom is a loving, caring father. Suri is a vital part of his life and always will be. Of course he'll be seeing her soon. He's in England finishing one picture and preparing another," Fields said.

Furthermore, Bert Fields insisted that Tom Cruise terribly misses his little girl and the actor is completely looking forward to having fun with his daughter whom he had not seen in almost ten weeks.
