Twilight Hunk Hits Australia to Promote ‘Abduction’
Hollywood hunk actor, Taylor Lautner is seeking love Down Under.
On the eve of Kim Kardashian's lavish wedding, Taylor Lautner, now a lone werewolf in Australia to promote his latest film, “Abduction” has reportedly admitted being “single” and like American teen singer, Nick Jonas, he is open to the idea that an Australian beauty could steal his heart.
Despite recent rumors that he could be getting back together with popular singer, Taylor Swift after they got reunited at the recent 2011 Teen Choice Awards, the Twilight hunk had insisted in an interview with Channel 10 that no one has yet to have his heart and he could be looking for love in Australia.
Taylor is the lone werewolf to go Down Under to promote his film Abduction. He arrived Australia over the weekend and hit the red carpet at Chapel St.’s Jam Factory on Aug. 21, Sunday.
But the Twilight actor squeezed some time and dropped by Channel 10’s “7PM Project to discuss his film with Carrie Bickmore.
Teasing Lautner, Bickmore was reportedly star struck with the Twilight actor and admitted that while he is no fan of the series, she is thrilled when interviewing Lautner especially about love Down Under.
"I'm actually not a Twilight fan, but I feel like I should be. He was gorgeous," Bickmore was quoted as saying by the Herald Sun.

The Herald Sun also noted that the actor was alone to hit the red carpet despite the much-anticipated premiere, billed as a “VIP red carpet”.
The actor appeared unfazed of the ‘exclusive’ premiere as he allowed his adoring fans “Abduct” him and take pictures with him.
From Melbourne, Lautner is expected to fly to Sydney for the film’s premieres on Aug. 23, Tuesday.
“Abduction” is a story about a teen who sets out uncovering the truth about his identity. His past haunted him after stumbling his baby picture on a missing-person website.
In the film, Lautner is playing Nathan Harper, a teen who has ‘had the uneasy feeling that he’s been living someone else’s life for as long as he can remember” only to prove his hunch right when he saw a photo of himself as a boy. The conflict in the film began when he saw a familiar old photo on a missing-persons website.
The film is helmed by director John Singleto, who also worked in “Boyz n the Hood”. Lautner is joined by other big stars including Alfred Molina, Jason Isaacs, Maria Bello, Denzel Whitaker, Michael Nyqvist and Sigourney Weaver. “Abduction” opens in U.S. theaters in September.
