Taylor Swift Denies Collaboration With Kanye West
Taylor Swift denied the rumour about collaboration with Kanye West. The "Styles" singer confirmed that the rumour is not true, revealing other details about her music in her recent interview.
ET’s Cameron Mathison got the chance to interview the "Shake It Off" singer. When the 25-year-old singer was asked if the persistent report on her alleged team-up with Kanye West is true, she was quick to answer in the negative. At first, the singer was surprised about the question.
“We've never been in a studio together, but he's got a lot of amazing ideas,” she answered.
Although she is not teaming up with Kim Kardashian's husband any time soon, she confirmed to Mathison that she and the rapper had talked about it, but that they have also talked about many other things. She added that she adores West's creative artistry.
Last February, the "FourFiveSeconds" rapper guested at "On Air with Ryan Seacrest." During the interview with Seacrest, the rapper claimed that he and Swift would be having a musical collaboration. "She wants to get in the studio and we're definitely going to go in," West said.
West also shared the story behind his song "FourFiveSecond," a collaboration with Rihanna and Paul McCartney, to Seacrest. Check the full interview of Ryan with West here.
Aside from claiming that there's a collaboration with Taylor in the works, the "Stronger" rapper also revealed that he wanted to team up with Beck. In February, when Beck walked to stage to receive his Grammy Award, West appeared to be about to crash Beck's acceptance speech. He stepped off the stage immediately, though, giving the impression that he was only making fun of his infamous antic with Swift at the 2009 VMA Awards. Later on, however, the rapper said Beck should respect artistry and just give the award to Beyonce.
West received backlash quickly. After the stage crashed incident, he apologised to Beck for stage crashing via Twitter. Apart from his apology to Beck, the rapper also asked for"Granade" singer Bruno Mars' forgiveness through Twitter.
Currently, Swift is busy with her "1989" world tour. Before Mathison's interview with Swift finished, he asked the "Blank Space" singer if she would be working on the next album. The singer's response is no.
