Ever since rapper Kanye West and singer Taylor Swift were spotted together smiling and getting their pictures clicked at a recent award ceremony, there was speculation in the media that the two are doing music together. Taylor has now spoken about the matter in her latest interview. The “Shake It Off” singer said that they have talked about it but nothing is finalised yet.

“He's one of those people that's just like idea, idea, idea,” Taylor is quoted as saying to ET Online in an exclusive interview. “He's very creative and… I think we've talked about it but we've also talked about so many other things… I completely respect him as a producer,” she said adding that it is all she knows now.

Kanye and Taylor have come a long way from the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards incident when Kanye famously came on stage and interrupted Taylor's winning speech. Kanye was not happy that Taylor won an award and felt that his friend singer Beyonce rather deserved to win. Taylor was left surprised at Kanye's sudden gesture but felt happy when Beyonce asked her to complete her winning speech later.

In her recent interview with Glamour magazine, Taylor called Kanye her friend and said that after the infamous incident, she realised that she needed to prove herself in her career where Kanye “realised he respected what I do as a musician.” The two were spotted chatting with each other recently at an award ceremony.

Taylor is currently enjoying the success of her first pop album “1989” but she revealed in her interview with Glamour that her label was not happy she was doing a pop album as she has always been doing albums based on country music. But Taylor said she believed in herself and went ahead with “1989” and the results were great. So is the singer coming out with any new music soon? Taylor told ET that she is “not making the next record yet” as it is “going to take a lot of thinking about what that should be.”
