Taylor Swift will not comment on her alleged feud with “Roar” singer Katy Perry. Unlke Katy Perry, who once said she would speak out against artists “defaming her,” Taylor thinks commenting will just sensationalise the said “feud” further.

While the two are not denying there is a feud between them, Katy Perry did enough to show that she is currently not in a good place with once good friend Taylor. Taylor, for her part, had already shared that her song “Bad Blood” is about a “former friend,” whom she had a row with over backup dancers. Many people assumed that the former friend in question is Katy Perry.

However, beyond that, Taylor told Telegraph UK that she would never comment on Katy anymore on her interviews. "I'm not giving them anything to write about. I'm not walking up the street with boys, I'm not stumbling out of clubs drunk. But I'm never going to talk about her in my interview, It's not going to happen," the “Shake It Off” singer said.

Katy and Taylor were once best of friends for a long time before things got bad between them. On this year’s Super Bowl half-time show, Perry took a dig at Swift with her performance. Her backup dancers were all wearing high-waist polka dot bikinis, which people associated with Taylor Swift. The “Red singer” was spotted wearing something similar during her holiday vacation with Conor Kennedy on the shores of Hyannis Port, Massachusetts back in 2012. Because Taylor admitted her beef with her “former friend” was on backup dancers, most was convinced that the 2015 Super Bowl performance of Katy was indeed used by the singer to take a swipe against Taylor.

Katy, on the other hand, already shared that she has no problems talking about such feud or anyone who would diss her. In 2014, when Taylor described a fellow female musician as her "straight-up enemy" that attempted to sabotage her entire tour, Perry immediately took to Twitter to say people should watch out for “Regina George in sheep’s clothing.” People assumed that she was pertaining to “Mean Girls” movie’s villain to describe Taylor.

She then told Billboard that she has no plans of staying quiet when there would be jabs against her person. She said she would not let anyone who would try to “defame” her character pass, as the person would certainly hear from her.
