Taylor Swift recently filed a countersuit against radio host David Mueller who allegedly groped her in a meet-and-greet in 2013.

It was Mueller who first took legal action against Swift in September when he claimed that he lost his job and was banned from the star's concerts due to false accusations by the “Bad Blood” singer. Swift alleged that Mueller groped her at the Pepsi Center just before her concert in June 2013.

The accused has agreed to the fact that Swift, 25, was assaulted, but he shifted the blame on Eddie Haskell, who is his superior at Denver radio station KYGO. Haskell also happens to be a long-time business associate of Swift. However, Swift reiterated that Mueller is the culprit.

"Ms. Swift knows exactly who committed the assault – it was Mueller – and she is not confused in the slightest about whether her long-term business acquaintance, Mr. Haskell, was the culprit,” reads the countersuit obtained by People.

“Resolution of this Counterclaim will demonstrate that Mueller alone was the perpetrator of the humiliating and wrongful conduct targeted against Ms. Swift, and will serve as an example to other women who may resist publicly reliving similar outrageous and humiliating acts," the statement adds.

The alleged act of indecency by Mueller has also been described in the court papers. It has been reported that the radio host “intentionally” reached under Swift’s skirt and groped her without her will and permission. He was at the 2013 meet-and-greet event with his girlfriend.

Some people have shown support for Swift, while others blamed the “Love Story” singer’s skimpy outfits and skinny frame for the incident.

The incident reportedly left the pop artist upset and offended. The court papers reveal that she informed her photographer, tour manager and security team about the shameful encounter with Mueller.

Swift has now sought a jury trial regarding the matter. If she wins the case in the future, she will reportedly donate the money to charitable organisations that work for women rights and safety. So far, no other details have been revealed by the lawyers of either side.

Meanwhile, in lighter news, Rockabye Baby has turned the pop star's hit tracks into lullabies, and the album will be released today.
