Taylor Swift Talks about New Album: 'It’s Already My Favorite Thing'
Taylor Swift might be busy with her world tours but that doesn't mean she's making a fresh batch of songs for her next hit album. The "Red" singer shares a few details on the upcoming album. According to the country crooner, the new album is already her "favourite."
Swift's fourth album, "Red" not only dominated the charts but the world. The songstress has gone from one "Red" tour to the next. After her "Red" tour in Shanghai, Swift is looking forward to her next favourite thing to do - a follow up to her 2012 album.
During a press conference in Shanghai, Swift talked about her upcoming album which is set to take the most of her time once she heads back to the States.
"That is my favorite question yet! With ending the Red Tour, it's been a very long tour, and we've taken the tour all over the world, and this will be our last leg of the Red Tour. We're not going to announce some other leg of the tour, but what that does mean is I can throw myself into the next project. I've already been working very hard on it, and it's already my favorite thing that I've ever created. The idea that after Asia, I get to go back and finish everything, and get everything completely done and wrapped up for a new project, it's very exciting. It's exciting to be here, and it's exciting to know that this is the end of a sort of a musical era of my life that I'm very proud of. It's also exciting to move onto the next one," stated Swift via Fuse TV.
However, it'll be a long wait for fans because Swift still has her "Red" tour in Singapore by June 12. "Swifties" hope to get a new dose of Taylor's music before the year 2014 wraps up.
With regards to her music, Swift claims it'll just be confessional as the predecessors.
"I think I really just love the unity it brings me and the audience, because chances are they've felt the exact same way I felt when I wrote the song and I think it kind of reminds everyone - and it reminds me - that the human experience isn't so lonely," explained Swift via Idolator.
