Taylor Swift Verbally Hints She's 'In Love' With Boyfriend Calvin Harris
Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris have taken to social media lately to confirm that they are indeed dating, although the couple has yet to verbally confirm the status of their relationship. However, Taylor may have just verbally proclaimed her love for the DJ during her recent concert in Scotland.
UK’s Now Magazine noted what Taylor Swift said during her recent show at Calvin Harris’ home country in Scotland. The “Blank Space” singer, who’s only been dating the DJ for a few months, reportedly hinted that she might be in love with Calvin Harris when she appeared to give a shout out to her boyfriend on stage.
“Look at all of these amazing Scottish people in this room right now. I happen to love Scottish people, personally,” she told a crowd at Glasgow’s SSE Hydro Arena.
However, Taylor Swift seemed to back up her statements with a revelation of her family’s ancestry. “My dad sent me an email. It said our whole family is from Scotland, so I evidently am one of you,” she added.
According to the publication, perhaps it’s the discovery of her Scottish ancestry that made Taylor Swift’s affection towards Calvin Harris stronger. The singer even reportedly hinted of the affection between her and her DJ boyfriend when she talked about love during her concert. The singer recalled learning about love from the movies, wherein two very different characters find themselves perfect for each other. Per Now Magazine, Taylor may be hinting about her relationship with Calvin Harris.
Hello Magazine also noted that Taylor Swift previously called Calvin Harris as “one of her favourite people.” The singer had taken to her Twitter page to reveal her pet name for the DJ by sharing a blurry photo of Calvin Harris laughing around with two of her best friends, Gigi Hadid and Karlie Kloss. Taylor captioned the photo, "I took a photo of my favourite people—they were laughing so hard, the lens couldn't capture it fast enough.”
Calvin Harris had praised his girlfriend ahead of her Glasgow concert after she penned an open letter to Apple on her Tumblr page. Taylor Swift had spoken up for the other artists considering the unjust decision of the tech giant not to pay the musicians during Apple Music’s three-month trial period. Harris took to his Twitter page to applaud the singer’s courageous effort, which had apparently in the end convinced Apple to pay every artist whose music will be included.
