Most of the time, being famous has its perks. Free clothes, free food, even free access to any super-secure location. However, carrying the fame of a celebrity can also bring about repercussions.

Enter Taylor Swift, whose name carry a big responsibility of a clean slate and poise, who, unfortunately, experienced a slight speed bump when she crashed a wedding. But this isn't just any wedding: it's a Kennedy wedding.

Talk about awkward. The 22-year old multiple Grammy winner was asked to leave the reception and refused, even ignoring the mother of the bride, Victoria Gifford Kennedy, when she was asked her to quietly exit the premises.

"The wife of the late Michael Kennedy says the 22-year-old country star - who began dating Conor Kennedy this summer - 'looked right past her' when she asked Swift to make a, well, swift exit on Saturday," reported Celebuzz.

Victoria did receive a text from Conor asking permission if he and Taylor could come, to which Victoria replied a sincere and solid no.

Why would Victoria not want the country singer to attend her daughter's wedding? Is there bad blood? Does she not like her songs?

Well for one, it would take away the spotlight from the bride, who is the supposed star of that day.

And take away the spotlight, Taylor did.

"According to the Globe, there was a mild commotion in the lobby of the Fairmont Copley Plaza hotel when 18-year-old Conor and Swift arrived, with fans asking for pictures and autographs." continues Celebuzz.

However, Taylor's spokesperson said that the bride thanked her for attending her wedding, and was even seen hanging out with the family through the weekend.

"Even after the ceremony, Swift was spotted hanging out with the family throughout the rest of the weekend (not exactly the behavior of someone reeling from the tension of being kicked out of a wedding)." reports E! Online.

Swift might be known for sudden changes in boyfriends, but causing a ruckus such as this is not very Swift-like. Hopefully, the fans would hear more good than bad in the upcoming weeks regarding everyone's favorite country singer.
