'Teen Wolf' Actor Linden Ashby Teases Possibility Of Season 6 For MTV's Supernatural Drama Series
"Teen Wolf" is set to return with season 5 in 2015 and a cast member thinks the MTV series will get renewed for another season. Actor Linden Ashby, who portrays Sheriff Stilinski in the supernatural TV series, teased the possibility of "Teen Wolf" Season 6 happening and talked about his character in an interview.
Linden Ashby thinks that there is a chance for "Teen Wolf" to go beyond season 5 because there have been already some talks about it. "I think there's a good shot of that. I know that people are already talking about it at the network so we'll have to wait and see on that. But I think there are definitely conversations about going beyond Season 5," the 54-year-old actor stated in a myFanbase interview.
The "Teen Wolf" star also considers the arrival of young cast members, like Dylan Sprayberry (Liam) and Khylin Rhambo (Mason), as one of the reasons why the MTV series will still continue. Linden Ashby shared that he went surfing with his young co-star Dylan Sprayberry and the experience reminded him of the energy, dynamics and mindset of a 16-year-old in the TV series.
"It's just beautiful! It's limitless energy and just a whole different kettle of fish. I think that they're a great addition to the show," Ashby stated. When asked if his character will have a new dynamic in the future, Linden Ashby hopes the "Teen Wolf" fans will see a Sheriff Stilinski-Derek Hale team up soon.
The actor further admitted that he enjoys working with co-star Tyler Hoechlin, who portrays Derek Hale in the MTV series, and even series creator Jeff Davis dubbed the pairing as the "Batman-Commissioner-Gordon-relationship. In a TV Line report, MTV has confirmed that "Teen Wolf" Season 5 will have a total of 20 episodes that will be divided into two parts just like in "Teen Wolf" Season 3.
However, "Teen Wolf" cast member Holland Roden teased in a Hollywood Life interview that one character will no longer come back to Beacon Hills when the TV series returns with season 5. "You're going to have to tune in for Season 5 to see if we're all coming back or not. That's just the reality," the 27-year-old actress, who portrays "Teen Wolf" character Lydia Martin, stated.
"Teen Wolf" Season 5 is expected to return in June 2015 where the mystery on the "Desert Wolf" could finally be revealed as well as the supernatural identity of Deputy Parrish (Ryan Kelley).
