'Teen Wolf' Season 3: Actor Ryan Kelley Cast as New Character Deputy Sheriff Parrish in Second Half of MTV Series [PHOTOS]
Two new characters will be joining the rest of the "Teen Wolf" cast members when the MTV series returns for the second half of Season 3. The Deadline report claims that actor Ryan Kelley has been cast as Deputy Sheriff Parrish, the latest addition to the Beacon Hills Sheriff's Department while the other character that will be introduced is called nogitsune.
The previous Hypable report revealed that a new deputy is headed to Beacon Hills since the Darach killed former deputy Tara Graham in Season 3 Episode 9 titled "The Girl Who Knew Too Much." The Deadline report on actor Ryan Kelley as the new Deputy Sheriff Parrish character reads: "He'll assist Sheriff Stilinski (Linden Ashby) in uncovering the mysterious supernatural occurrences that plague the murder prone Northern California town before becoming part of the mystery himself. He is repped by APA and Untitled."
Other details about the new "Teen Wolf" character were no longer revealed after describing the new deputy in town as someone "pretty young and very good-looking." The 27-year-old "Mean Creek" and "Prayers for Bobby" actor appears to be the perfect fit for the character description, hence, landing the part for the upcoming second half of the TV series' third season.
Another character set to bring trouble in "Teen Wolf" Season 3B is called the nogitsune, a "malicious creature" and the complete opposite of the kistune though they are still considered as tricksters. The E! Online Spoiler Chat report has described this new character as a "malevolent man with inhumane movements" that also talks in riddles.
Apparently, "Teen Wolf" is set to fully embrace the Japanese myth with these characters. No official announcement has been made yet on who will portray the nogitsune, but a casting announcement on another character has revealed that actress Arden Cho will portray the character named Kira, a new Asian-American student in Beacon Hills, and Doug Jones portraying known killer "Barrow" in Episode 15 titled "Galvanize."
The second half of "Teen Wolf" Season 3 will give out details on the mysterious characters when the TV series return to the small screen for the final 12 episodes on January 6, 2014 at 10 p.m. EST on MTV.
