Teen Wolf Season 4, Episode 6 Recap/Spoilers: Scott Determined to Stop The Benefactor and Save Everyone in the Dead Pool List
Scott's (Tyler Posey) leadership skills were once again put to the test in "Teen Wolf" Season 4, Episode 6 titled "Orphaned." In the latest episode of the MTV series, the True Alpha werewolf reached the point where he can no longer watch the people that he know and care about getting hurt or dying so Scott decides to stop "The Benefactor" from accomplishing the Dead Pool list and save everyone who is on it.
Spoiler Alert: This feature contains major spoilers on "Teen Wolf" Season 4, Episode 6 titled "Orphaned." Kate Argent (Jill Wagner) wakes up in a car while raining, sees a cassette tape, plays it and hears about the ability of the Hale family to calm down werewolves so they can control the transformation. The next scene showed the were-jaguar with the Berserkers inquiring about who The Benefactor is but none of the assassins were able to tell her.
Violet (Samantha Logan) was arrested after the attack that happened at the lacrosse game in the previous episode but her boyfriend and other assassin, Garrett (Mason Dye) escaped. At the animal clinic, Dr Deaton (Seth Gilliam) tried to save Beta werewolf Brett (Cody Saintgnue) with Stiles (Dylan O'Brien) and Derek (Tyler Hoechlin) helping.
When Stiles and Derek failed to restrain Brett, Peter (Ian Bohen) arrived and attacked the young werewolf to stop him from hurting someone and escaping. Then, Brett started to mutter the words "The sun, the moon, the truth" that Dr Deaton revealed to be a Buddhist saying and Peter realized it is the motto of Satomi, the werewolf that Kira's (Arden Cho) mom met in Season 3.
Scott found a bag full of money in Garrett's locker and took it. Scott was tempted with the idea of keeping the money and using it to help his mom pay the bills.
Garrett took Liam and threatened Scott he will kill the newbie werewolf if he did not return his money and girlfriend, Violet. Derek and Malia (Shelley Hennig) teamed up to find where Liam is while Stiles, Lydia (Holland Roden) and Deputy Parrish (Ryan Kelley) head to Eichen House to talk to Meredith (Maya Eshet) again about the keyword to the third part of the Dead Pool list.
Meredith refused to help this time because The Benefactor instructed her not to do so. Stiles and Lydia must now figure out the keyword to reveal the remaining names on the Dead Pool list.
Stiles suggested that a banshee power works in predicting death so the name of the person for the keyword is not dead yet but soon will be. Lydia closed her eyes to focus and typed in a name: Derek.
The final list revealed Liam and Meredith are included in the Dead Pool. However, Meredith already committed suicide by hanging herself in her room after having the discussion with Stiles and Lydia.
Meanwhile, Scott and Garrett found the vehicle transferring Violet to prison but it was overturned with Scott's dad and Sheriff Stilinski (Linden Ashby) injured and Violet is missing. The Berserkers showed up, which means Kate took the teenage assassin, and attacked Scott and Garrett.
Scott survived, thanks to Chris Argent's (JR Bourne) help, but Garrett did not. Now, Scott and Chris teamed up in locating Kate in order to find and save Violet.
The Argent siblings finally faced each other at a warehouse but when the Berserkers tried to kill Chris, the were-jaguar instructed the creatures to back off. As for Violet, the orphan assassin is already dead.
Liam was trying to escape the well where Garrett placed him. Scott heard Liam's scream so the Alpha werewolf was able to save his Beta and bring him to the clinic to be treated.
Realizing that danger will continue to follow the people that he cares about, Scott declared that he does not want to keep watching people die anymore and decided to save everyone on the Dead Pool list and put a stop to the evil plan of "The Benefactor."
The ending scene showed Kate hiding in the sewers and Peter showing up to offer his creature creation a deal. Peter agreed to help Kate in controlling her supernatural powers in order for her to go back to the Argent family but in return, Peter wants his money back and as expected, power.
"Teen Wolf" Season 4 will return with Episode 7 titled "Weaponized" which is scheduled to air on Monday night, Aug 4, at 10 pm ET/PT on MTV.
