The supernatural identity of Deputy Jordan Parrish (Ryan Kelley) became one of the unanswered questions in "Teen Wolf" Season 4. In an interview, actor Ryan Kelley talked about what his character will be up to in "Teen Wolf" Season 5.

The 28-year-old actor revealed in a TVLine interview that "big things" are about to happen to Deputy Parrish in the new season of the MTV supernatural series. "I'm excited about that," Kelley shared.

"Teen Wolf" fans are also excited to find out what kind of supernatural creature Deputy Parrish is after his name showed up on the Deadpool list of "The Benefactor." A Hypable report listed Deputy Parrish's identity as the top question that must be answered in "Teen Wolf" Season 5.

The "Teen Wolf" star further revealed in the interview that he had the opportunity of finding out what Parrish is but series creator Jeff Davis messed with him for several weeks. "I kept saying, 'If I know, I can play the character differently,' but I think that's actually why he doesn't tell us things ahead of time. He did mess with me a lot, though; he'd smile and look like he was getting ready to say something, then walk away, or pretend to answer a phone call. He messed with me all season," Kelley shared.

When asked about having a theory on what Parrish could be, Ryan Kelley admitted that he does not have any major theory. However, the actor is aware of the speculation that his character could be a phoenix because he survived from being burned alive in "Teen Wolf" Season 4, episode 9 titled "Perishable."

Ryan Kelley stated that he does not personally think his character is a phoenix but added that he could be wrong since anything is possible with series creator Jeff Davis. The actor also hopes that Deputy Parrish will not turn out to be an evil character.

Actor Ryan Kelley further discussed in the interview about the possibility of Deputy Parrish and banshee Lydia (Holland Roden) having a romantic relationship in "Teen Wolf" Season 5. Kelley pointed out once again that anything is possible in the supernatural world of "Teen Wolf" and admitted that there is chemistry between the two characters after filming a couple of scenes together in "Teen Wolf" Season 4.

"Whether it ends up being romantic, or just a friendship where he's intrigued by her, we're not quite sure yet," Kelley teased. The "Teen Wolf" Season 4 finale episode titled "Smoke and Mirrors" showed a preview of what Deputy Parrish and Lydia's relationship will be like in the new season.

It looks like the two characters will be spending more time together as they figure out what kind of supernatural creature Deputy Parrish is. In the "Teen Wolf" Season 4 finale, Lydia told Deputy Parrish she will help him identify what kind of supernatural creature he is after giving him a copy of the bestiary and romance could develop from there.
