'Teen Wolf' Season 5 Spoilers: Writer Eric Wallace Confirms Return Of MTV Series In June 2015
Scott McCall (Tyler Posey) and his pack will be returning to the small screen in "Teen Wolf" Season 5 this coming summer. "Teen Wolf" writer Eric Wallace recently confirmed that the brand new season of the supernatural MTV series is set to premiere in June 2015.
According to a Hypable report, the announcement happened during Eric Wallace's interview at the Gecken podcast. However, the details on the exact date of the MTV series' return were not revealed.
Eric Wallace further teased during the interview that the writers of the show are currently working on making "Teen Wolf" Season 5 the "scariest season ever." Last Nov. 2014, actor Tyler Posey teased in an exclusive E!Online TV Scoop report that the upcoming new season of "Teen Wolf" is going to be "badass."
Additionally, the 23-year-old actor teased that what will happen in the show is something that the "Teen Wolf" team have not done in the past. Filming for "Teen Wolf" Season 5 is scheduled to kick off in early February.
Cast member Matthew Del Negro, who portrays Scott's FBI Agent father in the MTV series, confirmed on Twitter that the "Teen Wolf" cast and crew will start shooting in February with the premiere of the show scheduled to air over summer. "'@XDNiallHoran1: @MatthewDelNegro When is teen wolf coming back ?? <3' starts shooting FEB. Think it airs over summer," the 42-year-old actor posted on his Twitter account @MatthewDelNegro last Dec. 11, 2014 in response to a fan's query about the show.
Series creator Jeff Davis also teased the waiting fans with the title of the "Teen Wolf" Season 5 premiere episode through his Instagram account jd1375. "Back at it," Davis posted as a caption to the image shared showing the first episode's title which is "Creatures of the Night." Click HERE to see photo.
"Teen Wolf" Season 5 will bring back the storylines on the werewolves, the hunters and other supernatural creatures such as the banshee, were-jaguar and were-coyote. However, there are new storylines and supernatural characters that the fans can watch in the brand new season such as Derek's (Tyler Hoechlin) new wolf abilities and what kind of supernatural creature Deputy Parrish (Ryan Kelley) is. The Beacon Hills gang will return when "Teen Wolf" Season 5 premieres in June 2015 on MTV.
