After their emotional reunion, Tom Cruise is said to be searching for a home in New York so he could spend as much time as she can with his daughter Suri.

Following his divorce with ex-wife Katie Holmes, the "Mission Impossible" star is showing his intentions to spend as much time as he can in the city where his daughter Suri is. Katie Holmes is making New York City their home that is why Tom Cruise is said to be on the lookout for a home of his own closer to where his daughter is.

The actress was granted primary custody to 6-year-old Suri, with Tom retaining his visitation rights. Last week, the two had a father and daughter bonding when Cruise flew in to New York from Los Angeles after he packed up shooting for his latest film "Oblivion."

"Tom's looking for a new home here. He wants a fresh start. He doesn't want to go back to the East Village apartment where he was living with Katie," a source told New York Post. "He's looking for something that's very private where he won't have to deal with going through a lobby, and people outside all the time."

Cruise currently lives in his Beverly Hills home together with his son Connor, His daughter Isabella lives in a separate apartment nearby. But right now, Tom's primary concern is finding a home in New York that has a space big enough where Suri can play.

"He also wants to have a nice amount of space for Suri, with outdoor space," the source continued. "That could mean high-end luxury apartments, but he's also looking at houses outside of the city or in gated communities."

Cruise just flew to London after spending time with Suri. He is believed to be in preparation for his next movie, "All You Need Is Kill."
