Angie McAlister may be trapped twice (in Junior Rennie’s nuclear bunker, under the dome) but the young beauty in Britt Robertson finds great future ahead after landing a lead role in George Clooney’s Tomorrowland.

After beating out Disney Channel’s Naomi Scott, Britt has landed the lead role in Brad Bird’s throwback adventure film. This could be better than being chained in the bed at a nuclear bunker Under the Dome, couldn’t it?

Not much details about Bird’s Tomorrowland, but with news of Britt’s role in the film, more information is coming out of its plot line.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Britt plays “a high school girl with an unconventional understanding of technology.”

Citing the press release by the film, EW added that Britt is cast opposite George Clooney to “launch on a journey to reclaim her future.”

In the film, George plays the role of inventor (spoiler alert!), leading speculations that Britt could likely portray the character as Clooney’s daughter.

Britt’s recent role as Angie in Under The Dome has been getting everyone’s attention for her convincing performance as battered girlfriend, abused by psychotic boyfriend in Junior Rennie (Alexander Koch).

But Britt has more aces up her sleeve since embarking on acting career in Hollywood. Representing Britt is Innovative Arts.
