The Jolie-Pitt clan is a picture of a happy family - - a big rarity in a Hollywood family and surely one of very few among celebrities. Brad Pitt finds more work (though ones that don’t involved sex with leading ladies); Angelina Jolie spreads herself thin with her own projects and advocacies and the powerful couple have managed to come out just fine amidst the chaos brought by their six children and a family dog.

While Angelina Jolie continues with her advocacies and hit films that no women her age has accomplished, her partner of seven years, Brad Pitt ensures to give her the protection that she needed before and after her double mastectomy.

A friend of Brad Pitt reveals that Brangelina may have yet to tie the knot, but Brad sure acts and feels like he is married to the woman like he has never loved before.

"In my mind, he's already married," Frank Pollaro, friend of Brad and the actor’s partner for future-designs, was quoted as saying, according to People. "This is an admirable person, a man with a deep love for his family."

Brad Pitt earlier claims that he “has never seen life as happier.” In an interview with Esquire magazine, Brad Pitt pointed out that he may “miss in a hotel room, alone with his old lady, but after some time, he misses all the chaos” he referred to as “cacophony.”

Angelina’s doctor, Kristi Funk, described how Brad protected the actress during her medical ordeal. Funk said that the Hollywood’s legendary hunk actor was Angelina’s side in every step of her surgery.

According to People, a family insider noted that "Brad did everything he could to keep things secret and protect Angie."

To do this, the couple ensured that their doctor’s appointments and car rentals are done at a time when no one else would suspect that they are going through some real big thing. Brad Pitt was able to help Angie keep her condition a secret as “the couple both wanted Angie to be able to recover and rest before they shared the story.”

According to Angelina, Brad Pitt never really shows any pressure or worries that could have been going through his mind and that they even "managed to find moments to laugh together."

Days after her surgery, Angelina was seen working again for her humanitarian duties and she seemed to be like she has ever been.

"Nothing seemed different," a family source was quoted as saying by People,” adding, "The kids were all laughing. Angie seems like she always does – very happy and just focused on her kids."

The Jolie-Pitt clan was last seen in their compound at Los Feliz area in Los Angeles on May 18. In an article written by Angelina, posted on Time magazine, the actress shared her story explaining why she braved the double mastectomy surgical procedures after mutated BRCA1 gene had been detected in her system that could predispose her to cancer when left untreated.
